Beer Description
A lot of experimental hops were used on this one, with HBC 682, HBC 344 and South African XJA 436 all making an appearance. We loaded up on the juice of this New England style IPA by adding 250lbs of blood orange puree. It is cloudy with a slight malt sweetness from the use of oats and wheat in the malt bill, which leads the way for a blast of tropical fruit, red berries, and oranges from the hops and the fruit puree. The finish is dry and crisp with a soft blood orange twang.
