Beer Description
Acadie is brewed as Biere de Garde – an old French style seasonal brew.
Gar Hatcher, the brewery’s head brewer and production manager said that “As a biere de garde, Acadie offers the style’s prominent malty aroma. A freshly poured beer is highly carbonated and bronze colored with a nice, thick off-white head. The beer is malty with an underlying caramel sweetness, yet finishes medium-dry. The restrained use of imported French hops provides its balanced bitterness.” Acadie offers the smooth roundness of an artisanal farmhouse ale, thus this French style beer is terrific paired with most any cuisine. The brewers say that Acadie brings diverse flavors together for an unforgettable meal.
