Beer Description
Imperial brown porter fermented with lager yeast featuring notes of toasted biscuits and a convincing coffee substitute from roasted chicory root added to the mash in place of roasted dark malt. Licorice root adds a hint of sweetness while gentian root produces a botanical bitterness to counter the alcoholic strength of 9%.
