Beer Description
A good old fashioned lager, the Holstein Helles balances a solid malt base with floral German noble hops to provide the ultimate in utilitarian beer drinking.
This sturdy beer is named after Holstein Park, located in Bucktown. In1848, several hundred German immigrants disembarked in Chicago and in 1854 established the town of Holstein. The area was annexed to the City of Chicago in 1863.
