Equilibrium Honey Hazelnut Crisps

We have been enjoying the distinctive velvet nougat-like flavor and mouthfeel honey has imparted in some of our recent stouts. For our latest creation, we boiled up a stout with a touch more chocolate malts for a dark cocoa truffle base before adding hazelnuts, honey, and Madagascar vanilla. Honey Hazelnut Crisps pours pitch black with a mocha head. Aromas of dark chocolate and your favorite hazelnut spread waft up from the glass with flavors of super fudge toasted hazelnut brownies, nutty caramel honey wafer chocolate bars, and whipped vanilla frosting. The sweetness is balanced out by the roasty malts and the creamy mouthfeel makes this a liquified dark chocolate hazelnut honey filled truffle.
