This year’s seven-hop blend includes Simcoe, Loral, Ekuanot and HBC586, among a few others. We’ve joined hundreds of breweries around the country, and decided to make our brew a West Coast Pale Ale with a neutral, clean base
Every year, the ALS Therapy Development Institute, in partnership with Loftus Ranches and Yakima Chief Hops, puts together a hop blend for a beer to raise funds for ALS research. This year’s seven-hop blend includes Simcoe, Loral, Ekuanot and HBC586, among a few others. We’ve joined hundreds of breweries around the country, and decided to make our brew a West Coast Pale Ale with a neutral, clean base to let the character of the hop blend shine. Grapefruit and pine come through big up front, leading into a hint of herbal spice in the finish.
