Beer Description
D.O.P.E. is a Dank Overpowering Pale Elixer, brewed as a modern West Coast IPA, with some of the grunge, that got lost in the sauce of the big tropical fruit forward hop varietals that dominate the IPA scene today. Hopped hot side with Columbus, Simcoe, and Columbus Cryo – we laid down a potent base for a double dry hop of even more pungent and stimulating hops. Post fermentation, we burned one down, then dumped in copious bags of Mosaic, Comet, & Nelson + more Mosaic, Columbus, and Nelson (of the cryo variety). The resultant beer reeks of dank blueberry, Sauvignon Blanc skins, grapefruit zest, and the Dopesmoker album by SLEEP.
