Beer Description
Burnt caramel, sugary toffee candy, and dried fruits like dates and raisins. The rich maltiness is balanced by alcohol warmth more than hop bitterness, though we do use traditional English hops for a touch of balancing bitterness as well.
Scotch ales are one of the most decadent malt showcases you’ll find in a beer. Ours is crafted with English Golden Promise malt for a traditional biscuity malt backbone, with additions of toasty High Color Pale and Munich II for deeper base malt complexity.
The aroma and flavor of this beer are bursting with burnt caramel, sugary toffee candy, and dried fruits like dates and raisins. The rich maltiness is balanced by alcohol warmth more than hop bitterness, though we do use traditional English hops for a touch of balancing bitterness as well.
