Beer Description
Our 11th Anniversary Beer. Sodo Steel is and American IPA packed with fruity/citrusy hop flavors unlocked through a thiolized yeast (modified yeast capable of breaking up thiols into perceived aroma/flavor compounds). What are thiols? Thiols are an organic sulfur molecule found in many foods, and you guessed it, hops. When exposed to enzymes produced from this special yeast strain, they are able to transform large amounts of desirable compounds into flavors of passion fruit, grapefruit, and black currant.
