Beer Description
This dry, drinkable ode to Sauvignon Blanc wine is brewed with Pilsner and a touch of oats and fonio malt. 100% New Zealand hops were used in the kettle (Motueka and Nelson Sauvin) and the result was fermented with a special bioengineered yeast strain that creates aromas of passion fruit and guava. This beer is meant to be intensely fruity on the nose, and yet dry on the palate. Named in honor of Meredith Zielke’s love for New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc wine (and my zeal for her.)
