Beer Description
This Baltic style porter is the winner of the 2014 Midwinter Homebrew Ramp Up competition. The recipe was written and brewed by Scot Schaar. It pours a deep, opaque brown with a thick, lasting, tan head. Aromas of caramel, toffee and toast with hints of licorice lead into complex flavors of dark coffee roast, baker’s chocolate, molasses and dried fruit.
