Beer Description
This small-batch barrel-aged beauty starts with our spring seasonal, Ophelia Hoppy Wheat Ale.
We let her bathe in fresh tequila barrels for 11 weeks so that she could redefine herself as something entirely new. You’ll be amazed at the outcome. Pour this beer into a glass that will showcase its aroma, and you can’t miss scents of mezcal, oak, and tropical fruit. The barrels naturally mask some of the beer’s original hoppiness, but just a bit. This actually brings out the subtle sweetness of the malts. A peppery flavor and crisp mouthfeel still remain, however, followed by mellow tequila flavor.
