We call Idaho Select our lawn mower beer. Idaho grown pilsner malt gives it a clean, light malt flavor. It finishes with a crisp hot sparkle, making this a refreshing light lager for a hot summer day.
A retro or throw back brew. What I mean by this is that there are not many traditional pale ales being produced any more, the trend has moved toward more and more hops in this style...
Our Huckleberry Lager is a lite lager brewed with Idaho grown barley. A strong huckleberry nose without being overly sweet. The perfect beer to share with friends.
Delicate berry and slightly tart, citrusy lemonade on the nose, juicy huckleberries shine through on the palate that’s anchored by a crisp lager and bright carbonation.
This beer has an attractive copper red color that leads into a smooth, caramel malty experience with hints of toasty marshmallow, plum, and woody flavors...
Smooth and as dark as the underground. The roasted coffee flavor and aroma come from chocolate and debittered black malts.
About the brewery
Our mission is to brew outstanding beer and have a good time while we’re doing it. Located in the historic Coeur d’Alene Hardware building in Wallace, Idaho, Wallace Brewing Company launched January 2009. Our 15-barrel system will produce just under 3000 barrels of beer this year. Brewmaster Jack Johnson is a graduate of the American Brewers Guild and has produced our award-winning beers. Jack worked at Left Hand Brewing, Glenwood Canyon, Rock Bottom and Mud Shark breweries. When he arrived at Wallace Brewing he implemented a product consistency program through regular testing by White Labs. The team is truly brewing some great beers in the mountainous mining region of Idaho.
