About the brewery
Oldest family brewer in Belgium, possibly in the world… The brewery was founded in 1545, located off the main connecting road from Germany to France. Found along this trade route is an inn called “The Clocke”, where travelers could rest and sleep. They could also unharness their horses. Brewing became the main activity of the Roman family. Today, the 14th generation produces a variety of beers.
