About the brewery
Fall River Brewing Co. was founded in 2011 when John and Amanda Hutchings wrote out “bucket” lists. One item on both lists was the desire to own their own business. John, the founder and co-owner of the company, was a home brewer and developed a passion for the craft. As a construction project manager, John learned much that translated to running a successful business. He often found himself brewing beer until the early morning hours after long days at work. Amanda says there are multiple times she woke up at 2 a.m. during the work week, only to find John brewing a batch of beer in the garage. John found his passion, and this passion continued to grow as John learned more about the craft. Soon thereafter, John and Amanda created Fall River Brewing Co. within their garage, eventually moving into a converted airplane hangar near Burney Falls where production occurred until June of 2018, when the 30 BBL system came online at Fall River’s brewery facility in Redding.
The Fall River Brewing Co. brewery and tasting room is located at 4001 Eastside Road, Redding, CA 96001. On Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays we’re joined by food trucks that serve delicious local cuisine. Check our social media channels to see which food trucks are joining us that day. You can also bring your favorite food from one of our local restaurants. Delivery is available from several including Shasta Pizza Company, Mary’s Pizza Shack, and From the Hearth.
At our brewery, we welcome kids and have games they can play.
The Fall River Brewing Co. taphouse is located at 1030 East Cypress Avenue, Suite D Redding, CA 96002. Pull up a barstool, meet interesting people, drink great craft beer, and make new friends at the Fall River Taphouse. Enjoy our handcrafted IPAs, ales, stouts, lagers, porters and more at a dog-friendly hangout with a sweet patio, TVs, and complimentary WiFi for our customers. Feel free to bring in your favorite food from one of several nearby restaurants including Niu Hawaiian BBQ, Habit Burger, Chicken Shack, Domino’s Pizza, and more.
Children are welcome at the taphouse until 9:00pm and can enjoy any one of the soft drink options we have available.
At the brewery and at the taphouse well behaved dogs on leashes are welcome to join us, too.
There’s always something special on tap! Stop in and try our ever-changing seasonal craft beers. 4-packs of many of our beers are available to purchase. Or if you prefer, bring in or buy a growler container and take home 64oz of your favorite Fall River beers to enjoy later.
