3 Floyds 30th Anniversary Celebration

Tuman’s is hosting a 3 Floyds 30th Anniversary Celebration on Thursday, February 5 from 5-7 p.m. To mark the anniversary milestone, the brewery is digging into the archives and re-releasing a series of legacy beers that have not been brewed in years. The bar is tapping these legacy/rare beers on February 5th: Barrel-Aged Behemoth (Barleywine), Apocalypse Cow (Double IPA), Lord Rear Admiral (Bitter) and Quaanto-219 (Triple IPA). The celebration event includes swag giveaways, keep the pint, and more. There is no cover charge to attend, beer prices range from $8-$9. No reservations. Seating is first come, first served. LEGACY BEERS/RARE BEERS
Barrel-Aged Behemoth, Barleywine, 13.6% ABV
The brewery’s signature American-style Barleywine aged in Willett bourbon barrels for 12 to 16 months. This rounds out the intense hop character and compliments the natural vanilla, coconut, and bourbon notes extracted from the barrel-aging.

Apocalypse Cow, Double IPA, 8.6% ABV
This complex, double India Pale Ale has an intense citrus and floral hop aroma balanced by a velvety malt body which has been augmented with lactose milk sugar.

Lord Rear Admiral, Bitter, 6.5%
3 Floyds version of an Extra Special Bitter (ESB), this deep amber ale has a complex malt sweetness and pronounced apricot hoppiness. Named after Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson, a legendary British naval commander who achieved key victories in the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars.

Quaanto-219, Triple India Pale Ale, 12.5% ABV
This powerful hop-forward Triple India Pale Ale is bursting with notes of pineapple, orange, apricot, and honey, finishing with moderate bitterness.

CORE BEER/YEAR-ROUND
Zombie Dust, American Pale Ale, 6.5% ABV
Intensely hopped ale brewed exclusively with Citra. Medium bodied, with topical notes and big hop flavors, and a touch of pine.
