This is our original Whiskey War Barrel Proof, given a second maturation in a brand new, charred oak barrel for an additional 6-12 months. The rye-heavy mashbill creates a nose dominated by oak and caramel. Your palate enjoys heavy oak notes that are sweet on the front, but end with a hint of pepper.
