Wine Description
1448’ – the altitude of our small family winery in the foothills of California’s Sierra Nevada Mountains. Since 2010, we have produced a ‘Red Table Wine’ we call “1448”. Two of our favorite grapes comprise 88% of the blend this year; 63% Petit Verdot, 25%Petite Sirah. The balance of the cuvee is typically a collage of the unique heritage varietals we produce. This year it’s 5% Barbera, 4% Tannat, 1% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1% Charbono and 1% other red.
