Wine Description

Loren Tisserand, the winemaker, has returned to her family’s vineyard, in Saint-Pourçain after working with Sylvain Pataille in Burgundy. Since her return, the size of the vineyard has been reduced to 11 hectares and is now manually farmed on alluvial and granite soils. The vineyard is considered a pioneer in the use of organic and bio-dynamic agriculture and stands out as one of only 17 independent winemakers among the 80+ vineyards in the 600-hectare appellation. Loren’s approach to wine-making includes using homeopathic treatments, no filtration, and minimal amounts of sulfur, resulting in raw, fragrant, and unique wines. The wine is a unique blend of Pinot Noir and Gamay, presented in the most raw way—showcasing only the pure fruit and terroir that this area is known for.
