Beer Description
Zoigl-inspired Lager brewed with our friends at Schilling Beer Co.
Mountains often divide. Separated by distance but united through community, we set out in hopes that our beloved Appalachians would offer a path, bringing two houses together. Made with craft malted estate grain we grew on our farm, craft malted barley from @valleymalt in New England, and hops from the ancestral home of Dr. R.J. Schilling. This lager β inspired by the Zoigl tradition β fermented in our coolship, conditioned and naturally carbonated in tank, before lagering in bottle for months. Itβs our modern interpretation of a centuries-old approach to communal brewing. There are indeed mountains that connect.
