Beer Description
Traditionally made by lambic producers as a low-alcohol, second runnings beer, Meerts is a small but complex style that was nearly lost to history. This beer is a testament to the [often overlooked] thirst-quenching, purely drinkable possibilities within spontaneous brewing. Made with local unmalted wheat, malted barley, whole-leaf aged hops, and their well water, it was fermented and aged in oak for one year prior to blending.
